The Austin facility is situated within a few blocks of IH-35, thus it is ideally located for transloading a very wide range of products for delivery in Central Texas.

The Austin facility has primarily been used for transloading forest products. This facility is the smallest of the three transloading facilities, and it has limited storage capacity. When possible, Guthrie tries to coordinate railcar unloading with the actual delivery of the product to its final destination.
